My windshield developed a crack today, on what was an otherwise nice Sunday drive.:frown: I've had the car for 9 years, and I far as I know this is the original windshield. Any suggested shops for windshield replacement in northern NJ?

Has anyone done the replacement themselves? I've done windshields and rear windows on cars that use the sealant method. Is the NSX more or less difficult? I suppose I need to spend a little time with the shop manual to investigate. Of course if my insurance company pays for it, then I'll have a shop do it.

I did a search on Prime, and have read the various opinions on Safelite vs Plinkington(LOF) vs OEM. Other than a 1.6 lb weight savings with the OEM, I'm not sure there were any compelling differences.

check with your insurance company. If it covers by your insurance, most likely you have no option to choose. Just pay copay (0$ or around $50) and they'll replace it for you. I think most of them use Safelite.
Anyway, good luck
