Don't laugh. The other day the Flight attendant ( sorry ..Stew ( Stu ) ) asked me where we were and I said we were approaching Lake "el if Inew". She went back to a passenger and told him verbatim what I had said and the passenger said he knew that lake and that he fished on it once........
TRUE STORY......... ( I have a lot more )....

Thanks for the respect Zak. Maybe others can learn your skills.............

So we're "on" for Monday, right boys?

No last minute, "I ate too much over the holidays and now I have a hernia and my mom says I can't drive a cart since its Monday and I only drive on tuesdays, and besides its gonna rain and I just washed my hair and I don't have a helmet, and my racing shoes are in the wash, and I can't find my fireproof underwear and my wife forgot to tell me I have to work late, but its my bosses fault I'm not feeling well - or any other excuses you can dream up!

Based on the list of potential attendees, we may get 16 bodies. I don't recall how many karts they have but I'd be very surprised if they have 16 karts. We may have to breakup into two groups of 8 which probably is a good idea. This way we'd have a better selection of karts to choose from and each group could get 40 laps each. I would also recommend we break up the 40 laps into perhaps two/three shorter sessions. A suggestion would be to have a short 5-10 lap qualifying heat, followed by one/two sprint race(s). Your grid position for the race would be based on your best qual time and/or finish position of the previous race. 40 laps could be broken up into one-10 lap qual heat and two-15 lap races. This way everyone would get a change to swap karts for each session to make it as fair as possible. Anyways, that's my thoughts.

I start a new job on Monday (the 8th) @ Autopark Superstore then I'm getting my wisdom teeth out the day after (Tuesday the 9th) at 9am, so my last bit of fun.....

I agree with the groups. They said that they only have 14 karts. We will have the usual Kamikaze group, and the not-so-Kamikaze..lol j/k... Hope to see all of you there, and leave your guns at home (RICKY)..............

That's what I figured. And I bet 4/14 karts are real dogs. There's usually one/two real fast karts with the rest being relatively equal.

Everyone be sure to keep a close eye on Daria. He's been known to tamper with the karts. Someone bring a metal detector to check him for wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.

WHAT A THRILL !!!!

Thanks "omeys_berlina" for organizing the event ! I think I speak for all when I say we had a BLAST !!!

Congratulations to the fastest on the track and the WINNER Mr. Daria !!

Congratulations to the fastest on the track and the WINNER Mr. Daria !!

Speaking of Lawyers...fastest on the track is RED!!! With the fastest lap time of the night!

I had to let Daria win - I have pitty on the old guy!

Excuse me ? When it came down to the "Race" ( the only one that counted ) were you not in " SEVENTH PLACE " !!! What do you really do when you tell your wife you go to the track Stu ? Have you ever been to a real track ???? ( I couldn't tell .... nor could the 6 guys that finished ahead of you.... and yes...I was one of them in a respectful 5th place ) :)

OK, Facts:
first race I came in 5th after getting hung up in a crash
second race I came in 6th after getting completely stopped and pinned in a crash

Lets race again early Feb!

Why do you keep crashing?????????

I kept crashing because your technique involved bashing people into the tirewalls so they got stuck!

Since I was pretty much close to lapping you I kept getting blocked by them.

I'm just glad you don't use that technique in planes!

How do you know I don't.......
Anyway, concept of skill comes when you can actually pass the guy. What do you want ? Us to pull over and offer you a TimBit and Double Double while we "Let" you pass....
I can't promise Stu, but if I have a little time at the track before our next heat, I'll try and show you some moves on the chalk board. If you can grasp this level of driving, I'll try and show you what it looks like on the track. For now....I would be good friends with Daria if I were you as he may also give you some tips. After all ...he IS the CHAMP !!!

Only real friends try and help your cause Stu.....
