Gil's wheels

Wil can you verify offsets. Actually with the 295 rear tires it looks great at full drop. Tne 295 tire was an experimental try that I actually like. It gives the rear end A tougher look. My new quarters that are being made out of carbon will have the same concept downforce applied adding 5mm to the front fenders. The fenders will work towards having 295 or 305 rearswithout issue.

They are 19x10 +30 custom offset, this is aggressive but not extreme - if the car is real low you can go more even - although not much if using 295's...

So when I am ready, you can produce me a set from the mold?

Calvin

Once i get back from vacation in January i will continue the car, carbon work and making new molds of the kit I was once installing. I will keep ypu posted.

I can then finish the rear valence I had started for the sorcery kits.

As of now I will end up selling the sorcery Type R Hood. I am going OEM. I will ditch the Stacy side skirts and go Oem factory and modify them to hang as low as the stacy skirts do.

The car then should have a complete update on all seals
Windshield
Windshield molding
New Fender liners,clips, tabs etc
All maintenance updates on coolant lines
New clutch
Cleaned under carriage
Engine mounts updated
Targa engine brace to fit non targa roofs
DF OEM side skirt replicas, new clips, tabs etc
Replacing 10mm bolts for fenders, quarter panels with titanium fasteners
Whitensx low and high beam HIDs
Type R front bumper lower tray and battery pcs
New radiator dam
New Ac condensor foam inserts
Sos brushed pedal set
Shark 2antenna
Interior Led bulb replacements
carbon door handles and door switch panels
Carbon steering column trims
carbon radiator bracket stays
Aluminum update bumper beams
Carbon battery box and Oem bracket
Source Odyssey battery
Will Ditch the Dali lower valence carbon diffusor and go larger
Replace wheel bearings with new OEM
Updated valve covers and intake manifold cover
Undecided about NSX R wing. Still not use to this look.

All components have been completed or on the way via mail.

You change your mind to much!

Please share where you got the carbon radiator bracket stays.

I do change but always leave options for the next. The carbon radiator stays I will mold from the OEM radiator bracket stays.

I was waiting for my new vaccuum pump which should be at my residence now. Just itching to get back on the road to complete and start producing part replacements.

That's awesome. I saw that VroooM did something like that as well or Dali has them too.

I'd like to get a set someday but there's other things that I need to address first on my car like. Hitting the lottery so I can buy a new clutch.

All mocked up minus door caps, all parts arrived via mail. Should be fun putting the accessories on and finally back to a driving car again.

Looks GREAT!
I feel like you'll truly enjoy this car in oem form (easy to drive, better quality).
Going to look awesome!!

Any plan for color? Sticking with white during the respray??

I ordered a new color from BASF Glacurit. I had a couple inquiries for buyers but no deposit to keep the car white so I will change it with the color bought and shoot the white I have on my brothers new project.

Your car with the hood is giving me second thoughts on selling my sorcery hood, I can always switch back and forth. =)

Gil, the car is looking great. You are making the right decisions, looking fwd to the end result. The interior is still red and alcantara though right??

Yes the interior is still alcantara. Gives the whole car a new fresh feeling every time I just sit inside. I did notice it absorbs sounds when the doors shut.

I opened the paint can today to see what it looks like in the sun and found this:

several ounces of Silver+Magenta+black+blue tint+binder=

The car has yet been disassembled for the final time. After doing this repetitively it becomes second nature. Final scuffing occurs Friday. Painting begins hopefully this weekend.

Still debating on a flattening agent for the clear to make this a clear matte finish or go all out gloss clear.
