Getting closets redone - California Closets - feedback?

Frank,
I had California Closets (not through Costco) install the Master closet system.
It turned out exactly as drawn and exactly how my wife wanted, so I'm happy.

Hey,

Im getting mine made by a cabinet maker using stain grade wood. I like it because because there are no limiting configurations or color choices.

Good for odd spaces or turns in your closet. Cost is very reasonable too. Unstained in the pics.

If it is within your budget, I agree with donwon, go with a cabinet maker you will be much more satisfied with the final product. California Closets are fine but they are average quality. If they are still offering melamine covered particle boards, those shelving screws occasionally break the melamine when you are tightening them and once a particle board breaks its all downhill ........ Having said this, I have had mine for some 12 years now, except for the issue mentioned, they are holding well. HTH. YMMV.

Dang, I forgot to add the crawfish cooker!

I cant answer the wall thing becasue mine is like 2 different sized rectangles put together. Heres a pic:

Closet is about 260 sf, (86 of wall space) and I have shelving/hanging on all but one wall. The shelving config is different from the pic, as we went for the more open look.

Total cost with all hardware and labor and finish was about <5k
