Fuel Injector Connector

This should be obvious, but it's not... How does one disconnect the 2P electrical connectors from the fuel injectors? (What is holding them on, how/where to press to release?)

There is a metal clip that goes around the base of the connector which holds it in place. I use a dental pick to get it pushed off enough to get the connector loose. The danoland DIY website has some pictures and a description of what to do.
