So I see my front engine mount is breaking or I should say tearing.
Its part #50840-SL0-000 for the 91-96 cars.
Must be stressed, that one and the back one.
Its part number 5 in the little parts breakdown.
Is this common or is my car just super fast and strong!!! lol
Now, I have to go shopping.

That's pretty far along. I know SOS at one point sold remanufactured ones with what looked like pre-compressed rubber press fit around the center bushing. Looked like it would be noticeably firmer than the stock one.

This is not uncommon. Yours is not worse than normal. Mine was just like yours. I replaced it with a serviceable used one that I received from EZR Car in Brooklyn, NY. If I remember right Joe Toth charged me $80 for one. Drop him an e-mail at [email protected] or call him at 718-774-7846. They have salvaged out over 100 NSXs. He has been fair with me.

When you get it, clean it real well and then get a tube of windshield urethane and fill the gap on the inside of the mount. You can do this with all of the mounts and it will firm them up and make them last longer.

Thanks, I am looking as we speak!
I have heard of people putting tape on one side and filling the whole cavity up with that gunk or what not. My Acura tech even told me to do that with this one, but I would rather start with new or good low milage used.
