So I co-host an automotive radio show on a Seattle talk radio station from 8-10am on saturday mornings, the International Auto Show is coming to town in two weeks, My co-host and I were asked to do some live stuff from the Auto Show to advertise it..we said "sure no problem"..that was a month ago .....today I get a phone call......"where do you want this Nissan roadster delivered?"....I said huh? what are you talking about?...my producer failed to tell me that I would be given a car to drive until the show and then "comment on it"....I guess I better work on my "Acura NSX is the only sports car worth buying" attitude..:wink:

HAHAHA!! I would say deliver it to my house... ;)

No, have it delivered to some run down warehouse area, pick it up and then claim you never got it. :wink:

urrr, a roadster for you in Seattle at this time huh??

well, I have a good idea, drive that thing to the nsx Claim jumper meet, or better yet let me drive it... I've never had a chance to drive the Z

Don't worry about it. You can always tell your listeners that the car basically sucks and they would be better off buying an early NSX-T if they want a roadster so bad. :biggrin:

Don't bash the Z! A good friend of mine bought one, which in turn inspired me to buy my NSX. The Z is a capable car-- just not unique enough for my tastes, not to mention that 1st year depreciation.

I don't care for the styling, and the visibility in the hardtops is unacceptable.

Hatchback=not exotic.

I shouldn't have any visibility problems with the top down :wink:

AARRRRGGHH! I got screwed! The Dist company said the 350Z got "wrecked" by the previous tester!!! so they sent a 2006 Ford Fusion!...I thought OK no problem I will just drive it and see how it does...so I remember all the newcorvette vs NSX threads and most came down to the fact that domestic interiors are not as high quality as japanese ones...well 2006???....the car has 257miles on it and the chrome is peeling off the driver's inner door handle :frown: ....oh well better luck next time ..."Ford quality is job 1" :rolleyes:

Thats too bad, I wonder who has to cough up the funds to replace, or repair the z. I would assume the driver... ( now wondering why i even asked the question ) anyways, yeah the only domestic car iv really looked at the interior was of a chevy, and it was terrible there was a distressed look to the car after only 10,000 miles, it was a rental car. I sincerly hope I never own one, given it was a base model but still.

The 350Z is by far the biggest disappointment in automotive history. At least you didn't have to drive that pos and then have to make up stuff to tell your listeners.

Yeah ..now I get to make up good stuff about the Taurus replacement! :biggrin: ...whoo hoo this should be good.

Oh wait I found one thing! there are controls on the steering wheel for climate control,radio,criuse...not bad for a 24k car I guess.. :rolleyes:
