Well, today I was taking apart the console to fix the shift boot for my new knob and low and behold, it's the NSX key hidden below! One of the previous owners must have dropped it through the e-brake hole. Man do I feel lucky today!
I bought one of these and I actually use it. It's quite nice, having this pleasantly weighty key on my keyring.
Yes, it's gotten a little banged up and it's not quite as pretty as when it was a virgin blank, but it just feels nice to use it, and it's so much easier to tell in my pocket which key is mine and which is the plastic-tipped key for my wife's TL. (Mind you, that's slightly less of a concern now that I installed the keyless entry--and god, was that easy!)
I think you can buy the titanium blanks for about 80 bucks online. C'mon, what's 80 bucks compared to what you spent on the car? Heck, what's it compared to a tank of gas right now?
