Actually GT40 replicas have been around for thirty some years now. There have been many manufacturers making the replicas. The current Ford GT is a bigger replica of the original GT40 which is a very tiny and cramped car. So this car is not a replica of the Ford GT, but of the GT40.

This company has a booth at the Monterrey Historic Races. Last year they had a lot of excitement and information about the "new" GT40. You can even get it with the Gurney Bubble! 
Their company manufacturing techniques are world class and the quality of the hand built and hand crafted cars seems second to none among their competitors. Very cool cars and company indeed.
