For those who like the Hybrid idea...

The new Eclipse concept is a Hybrid. A 3.8 L V6 gas motor powers the front wheels and the electric powers the rear.

The Gas motor is 270HP and the electric is 201HP. So you might think, wow... this idea is amazing. This is what the HSC should be. Well, guess what it weighs. The eclipse is a small car to start with.. but this concept is estimated to be 4000lbs!!!

4000lbs in a tiny sports car.... NO THANKS.

I started a thread on it a while back. I didn't realize it was so heavy. It sure doesn't look like that big of a vehicle. What's it made of, solid gold?
