hey guys, i'm a newbie to the board but i've been reading your posts for a while now. wow, what can i say...nsx. such a great ride. well i guess it's better than great :D. anyways, i just had a few questions for the guys with the FM exhaust systems. hopefully you guys can/willing to help me out :p. you guys got the custom piping done right? how much did you pay from the cat to the muffler? also is it an FM muffler and tip as well? how wide is the piping done? i saw the page with the sound clips...and i couldn't stop drooling. thanks again.

Yes, custom piping. I believe they use 2.5 inch piping. I paid about $50 to have the pipes made from the cat back to the muffler and from the muffler out to the tips. Tips I purchased somewhere online and had them install a few days later since I didn't have them at the time. Flowmaster is only a muffler, camero muffler I believe.
Good Luck

ps - If your ever in Houston, you can find out first hand. ;)

search

I strongly suggest do a search on fm exhaust... there are a lot of posts on it. Particularly one done by me..:p

I dont think search will let you do 2 letter words... which is a real pain for things like RM and FM exhausts...

What you can do is type RM* or FM*.
This will avoid such problems!

You can also use "*" for searches with keywords like "removal" or "remove".. You can simply type remov* to include both key words in the search!

lol. you guys are too funny. for the guys with the fm exhaust, did you guys all use the 80 series like ....i don't remember his alias. i don't want it to be too loud, and i remember somebody's sounded really good. i was thinking about the 30 series. whats your guys opinion? :)

I will be putting mine on next week. I read the side of the box that it came in.. and it specifically mentioned:

loud.. (to sum it all up)

guess we'll see...

=)
