I have the Flowmaster as well, and love it. I get many compliments on the sound! Pertect tone in my opinion. I am amazed!

Also, my car immediately ran cooler on the temp. gauge. Another bonus!

I would do it again in a split second!!!

Echelon, i just realized that your from the nyc area. i'm assigned to straightline collision for the next few months. if your familiar with that area, maybe on one friday lunch break we can meet up and i can hear your exhaust. or to make it more convient we could meet up at the next north east gathering.

Sure Im down to meet up. Right now Im waiting on my SOS clutch so my nsx is staying put. Ill be ready for the june 10th NSX meet at bridgewater acura. Is Straightline in Staten Island?

anyone know of qualified muffler installers that could do this setup in the Bay Area ?

Modern Mufflers on el camino and lawrence exwy.

I've had all of my cars/truck worked on by them.

Labor is typically 50 - 100.

If u get them on, I like to hear them and compare to my mufflers.

This is Carl
He is doing my exhaust
He will be bending the pipes by hand.
He fights from my gym in those MMA fights
Even if the exhaust looks like shit, I'll love it and not complain.
He came by yesterday and picked up my Flowmaster and my spare stock exhaust. He will fab it up without my car on a steel table jig he will make, leaving the end tips for after the muffler is installed on the car.
Will post a new post when he is done with all pics and sound and video.

If you're anal like me about this car, you want every bend to be perfect, the tips to be dead center, exact same angle, symmetrical, etc. It's almost impossible to achieve this goal with a custom exhaust unless you go with a top quality fabricator (not a franchise muffler shop). I went the cheap route twice, and I paid for it. I wound up trying the Dali Rice Rocket, then a custom-made dual-muffler set-up, and ended up with about $1500 worth of exhausts that I sold for about half of that in under 2000 miles. So I decided to do what I should've done first. Pulled out a few extra bucks and put a tried-and-true exhaust that is known to please the masses. I went with the GTLW and have been smiling ever since. There are others that would make people happy also (GT One, Tubi, etc), but for under a grand Shameless Plug , this set-up is almost too good to be true! Is the difference of a $400 or $500 that big a deal...probably not :smile:
