Sounds like the Marga Hills fixed headlights. Unfortunately, they are no longer made.

I could be wrong, but i heard a rumor that he custom made those. Someone correct me if i'm mistaken.

I'm not sure or wait i'm sure of that i have seen those same headlight that the gerry guy has selling on this website but it has been like 5 years since the site actually had something on it. The web site is www.speedlab.com

These are the people that made the same ones that are on that car. Not sure if his car has thier headlights or he made a look alike. but definitely they are made by speedlab

Well, A person I do business with owns a custom body shop in So Cal and has offered to make me a fixed headlight kit very similar to the Marga Hills. The buckets would be FRP and the lens would be molded or formed lexan. He can make this to fit the stock lamps or fit to a HID kit, such as the one that SOS sells. And, unlike the Marga Hills kit there would be no modification to the front bumper necessary.

The price he quoted me to make a one off for my car was $1,600.00. since it won't make my car faster and I don't drive it at night I'm not gonna do it. If anyone else is interested private me and I'll put you in touch with this person. I would assume that if there were more than a few he may lower the price.

He has an example of something similar on his Z06 right now and it is very cool.

(John "Anytime" if your watching and still have the Z06 pic's could you post them for everyone to see)

The shop is in So Cal and he will need a guina pig.

I'd be interested in those lights Craig. E-mail me more facts about it. I love the marga hills headlight. If he needs a guine pig, i wouldn't mind if he is willing to give discount. My price range is about $1000, just like the marga hills when it was in production.

I live in Los Angeles, but the way, so i'm not too far.
Thx

it looks like the C05 rally car in PlayStation's GT3

Check out the CF buckets that Ben had imported from Japan and painted to match his body color!

These are the TAITEC fixed headlights (same as shown on Bill C's car).

The Taitec fixed headlights are available on the Science of Speed website with or without HID headlights. Good HID headlights (like those from SoS) offer superior optical qualities. (Of course, you can install the SoS kit in the OEM headlight units, too.)

Ken, I ask b/c looking at these kits, it seems like the light beams are being cut off by the molding surrounding the lighting unit itself. So rather than getting a spreading beam similar to "V," fixed headlight owners would be getting something closer to "U;" beams that aim straight down the road and w/ little illumination on the sides.

The TAITEC fixed headlights you see above use Raybrig driving assist lights. The optics of the stock headlights will be better. The ScienceofSpeed HID system is a retrofit kit for the stock headlight housings, so they are two completely different products.

Cheers,

I can assure you that the the Pop Nishimura CF buckets with Raybrig HID's put out WAY more light than my OE's did on high or low beam. A few fellow NSX owners with non HID's can hardly believe how much light they bellow into the darkness. It is a down side not having a high/low beam, though. Realistically it is like driving around with this massive lighting at all times. I get people flashing me quite frequently, and yes, they are adjusted properly.

Gerry when do you plan to release them?

I agree. This is the difference between directional and omnidirectional lighting, which is why I say that the optics of the factory headlights are better.
