your cars are so similar, that if I were in your shoes, I'd go out to the garage just to make sure mine was still there.

Congrats on the car, Orbus!! I hope to be in your shoes real soon!!

It's been great! A couple of little things, but it is a 10 year old car!

My wife and I drove it to LA this past weekend. I tell you, we have a Lincoln Aviator... big, comfy... well I like road tripping more in the X!! It's a great highway car, it is soooo easy to pass traffic, and I got between 22 and 25 MPG!!

Driving some of the LA freeways (when there wasn't traffic) was great... some of the hilly roads are fun. Traffic really sucked though.

Now all I'm trying to do is come up with a proper wash kit, fix the lighter, and figure out how to repair/ prevent more rock chips. Unfortunatley the cost of the road trip was a bunch of rock chips up front :( oh well, gotta pay to play!

I'm thinking about going to the autocross at PIR on Dec. 4, and would love to take the car up Mt. Lemmon in Tucson... will try to make the Tombstone drive too.

Hope everyone else is enjoying their X as much as I am!!!

I'm REALLY glad to hear that you're enjoying your car. The NSX is awesome on the open highway .

If you have any questions about washing, let me know. I have a lot of knowledge and products for that and I know where you can buy Z products locally. I also have a buddy with all kinds of detailing equipment.

As far as the rock chips are concerned... it sucks. My car eats up so many rocks that I'll have to get the bumper repainted every 6 months. :frown: I'm seriously considering a clear bra after my first bumper repaint.

It sounds like you have a lot of driving planned for your near future! It would be great if you can make it to the Tombstone drive!!

Erin,

Love to know where to get the goods locally... and advice on a basic start up kit? I was looking at a few things in the $50-$70 range... don't think i want to get into the $100+ range for wax etc... where you going to go to get the front repainted? i may fly the clearbra route too...

oh... fixed the lighter... it was unplugged!!!

talk to you soon...
