A few Malaysian nsx owners welcomed the new year with a drive up the hills of Genting Highlands. Attached are some of the photos of the nsx and owners. If you pay attention, you will notice that there is a genuine nsx-r driven by a F1 test driver.

Can you spot the real nsx-r?

This is the vision that we are used to seeing of this car. The car is seriously fast and the driver is even faster (otherwise he wont be an A1 driver and a F1 test driver)

Beautiful endless BBK. Could do with better wheels though.

All of us were drooling over the nsx-r

Guess who is the owner of the nsx-r?

All of us begging the owner to sell us his nsx-r

Finally, what do you think of my baby's new black shoes?

The question is anyone able to keep up with your car on the run?
Good post Shaw! Look like a good turn out. NSX-R, special import I bet. Would love to see the NSX-R and your car in person.

FYI there is probably less than 50 nsx in Malaysia. We could not get more than 10 nsx per meet.

Yes, my baby has black advan model 5. It took me years to find these wheels in the right size and offset. Front 17x8 et 38 Rear 18x10 et45.

Awesome to see an "R" out there being driven (all the pictures of Type-Rs I see they're sitting in garages for sale in Japan) congrats to you and everyone that attended this drive, looks like fun was had by all.

Nice pics! thanks for sharing,

nsxinkl- looks like your front could go a tad lower to even things out with the rear.

My nsx can't go any lower. It is scrapping the bumps as it is. I should either get umbrella auto's VRH or raise the rear slightly.

very nice.

awesome to see a real nsx-r being used in the wild...

in that picture of the door sill, is the plastic wrap still on the seat?

What is Mr Fauzy up to next season? Is he still with Lotus (Renault, not Caterham)?

Hei Shaw, sorry I missed the drive.
What happened to the pictures taken on the previous meet?
Vasu, join us next time. Remember to stay away from the booze the night before the drive.
Very nice!!!

I still feel sooo stupid for missing the drive last summer!! I'll be back in 2012 in July/August and would love to join you guys then.

Don't be too hard on yourself. Your body and mind was probably functioning on European time back then. Give us a buzz when you are next in kl.

nsxinkl- what tire sizes are you running?
Front bridgestone RE001 215/17/40 Rear Yokohama AD008 265/18/35

That nsx-r was from the Honda museum! The owner bought 2 nsx-r but the other nsx-r in formula red was hijacked by another influential japanese buyer before he could ship it out of japan.

Yes the plastic wrapper is still on part of the seat. Sat on the nsx-r seat. It is comfortable but nowhere near the comfort level boasted by Vance Hu and other die hard fans here on prime.. LOL.

I think he is driving for Renault.
