I like your format, would you mind taking over the detail? I most likely will attend since work is quiet and the weather looks clear other than below 60 which I don't mind. I like the idea of getting a nice drive, doesn't have to be a race and maybe do lunch and mingle plus checking out everyone's ride.

You do not want to wait at the bk at 147tb street. The bk they are talking about is way more east. Like past 200th street east.

Good to know! And yeah I see it now, it's right off the Cross Island. What time will others be getting there? I live right off of the Belt Pkwy so I can meet at either BK or right after the Throgs Neck. What are the specific details for the meet up? I was looking at this year's earlier thread for some details.

If someone could provide me with the details for this Sunday's cruise, I don't mind updating the template.

For events going forward, if someone would like to partner up with me to come up with annual cruises during the year, I would be more than happy to lead. I've participated in similar organized events and they are always a good time. Whether it be a cruise up to Canada, across to Philly, down to Ocean City or out east to New England, I am always looking for fun roads to soak up.

I'll be installing my new wheel/tires this week so I will have fresh rubber to burn off lol.
 
2NDWIFE, thanks for taking the lead on this. This is my first Bear Run so I don't really know the detail. I think your format is good and we just need to start with the waiting spots for the L.I., NYC, then NJ and CT folks. I presume the L.I. and NYC folks can all wait right after Throgs Neck since that would be the reasonable spot. Then we can drive up to another spot to meet up with the NJ/CT folks if any. Then I guess is the detail drive direction from spot to spot. Maybe those who've done this can chime in. Just saw a video of driving up to the Bear Mountain tower, would love to do that and it looked beautiful up there.

Anyone has an extra set of the radio? I've never used one.

Gotta get back to work...........

2ndwife, do you know the exact address for the mobil up at bear mountain? That is our usual meeting spot. If no body wants to lead, I can lead if I get the address. I will be going 80 mph tops though.

80MPH :eek:, I'm thinking 65 :biggrin: !

80 is faster than I normally drive, but it is still quit a bit slower than the normal speed for the gathering. If everybody is willing to just cruise there at 70-75mph I will be even happier.

Not coming from Long Island, I'll meet you guys over the throgsneck because I'll be in queens from a holloween party. Looks like the group will be half the size this time around but we will see. I'm looking forward to taking lots of fall bear mountain pics. Don't forget the time change guys. Turn clocks back

Why dont you just meet up with the group at the bronx side of the throgs neck bridge

730 am meet up departure at 8am. If no one objects I know the way there and I can take you thru some fun roads on the way there

I'm here just haven't check the page lately, good seeing your Nsx in the midst of this S2000 as well. I think I want one now lol
 
Yeah, I think it's a lot easier for the L.I. folks to just head to BP over the Throgs Neck. I'll be there 7:30am. Can't wait, my very first Bear Run with my NSX!
