I have seen many NSX lately..seems odd considering how few were built...just today I took the babysitter home and when I dropped her off I saw a black 92 parked in the nabourgh's driveway..last sat I was driving and saw a different black car driving the opposite direction near my home...with only aprox 8k cars built and prolly 6k max in the US there must be say..0 cars in South Dakota so that I may have 3 within 2 miles of my house...just a thought ..how often do other owners see an NSX, I wonder?

I thought there were a little over 9000 in America. I could be wrong, but I thought I read that recently somewhere when it was anounced that production was ending.

That's actually what I meant... 9000 in the US. I imagine a lot of those have been totalled by now. I wonder how many actually exist currently in the US... anybody have any way to find out??

I figured you did. I wouldn't really think alot of them have been totalled.
I wonder how many are still running around on the street.

Here in Orlando, I've seen 3 randomly in the past 2 years since I got mine. Doesn't include shows and NSX related get togethers. I see more Ferrari's and Lambo's than NSX's

You would see more if you go to Nabil's shop.

Yeah,
I thought mine was going to replace Scott's there for a while until it was shipped over to Courtesy. Now it sits over there and collects dust. Should be done in 4-6 wks. :frown:

Wow, I didn't realize you didn't have it
If you don't mind me asking, what happened to it?

Here in Denver I have seen about six in the last 2 years.4 of them I see on a regular basis around the Denver metro area. One of them has plates from California. I see more Ferrari’s and Porsche’s then anything. The best is David Duval in his Porsche Carrera GT….

There's four of us here in Chino Hills, CA. I know one is a prime member.

I hardly ever see one on the road, and when I do I am almost never in mine! :frown:

I have been seeing this 16 year old punk (if you knew him you would know why I said 'punk') driving around in a Formula Red '99 NSX-T. That is pretty much the only other one I see around.

I wonder if he is on here or not??
If so, he would probably start a thread asking who the youngest owner is, or how much everybody earns.

True, maybe not a lot have been totalled... I just figured that with an aluminum frame even fender benders would end up totalling the car in many cases.

HAHA!! Pretty sure he is not on here. He is not really a car enthusiast, his dad is just a really wealthy doctor and his son likes to show off. Heck, when it is warm out he never even takes the targa top off because it might mess up his hair or blow off his sideways baseball cap.

I usually see 1 or 2 daily, I am in Southern Cal, so it makes nsx nowhere near as rare. Depending on locations.

When I used to lived in Milpitas up in Northern Cal, I probably only saw 1~2 per month.
