Becky and I were in Monte Carlo for a few days last week, so I did what anyone would do. It was a 1/2 hour drive, but here's 3 minutes of it. My driving isn't the star, and neither is the car. Really it was about the roads and the scenery.

I was there in October. This is by far the nicest city I have ever visited. Just regret not renting one myself.

I love visiting Monaco. Fantastic roads an amazing scenery. Looks like you had fun . Last time I was there I kept track of the exotics I saw over a span of 5 days and totaled up the $$$... I saw roughly $30M worth of cars in 5 days. But that was nothing compared to the Yachts obviously, those have become my new obsession.

Thanks for sharing the vid!

Photoshop!!!

I know it's not a German car, but you could have shifted above 4k!

It was the most frustrating thing - I would just get the car to sing a bit and get told to shift. I didn't mind terribly, but F cars aren't meant to be driven like a diesel.

No photoshop Dave. If it was, I'd look like George Clooney.

I must say that I'm kind of jealous.

We were there in '08 on our honeymoon, and one of our excursions from the cruise ship was to go to Nice in the morning and Monaco in the afternoon. One family of guests was about 30 minutes late for the bus leaving Nice in the morning and set us back in Monaco. When we arrived, I found out that you could either drive a 355 or 360 (at the time) for a lap of the F1 circuit; and as it turned out we didn't have enough time left.

But in other news, the family and I went to Disney World last week, where I found out that Richard Petty was now offering exotic driving experiences at the Orlando Speedway. I found out about this on Wednesday, booked it Thursday and drove the crap out of a brand new Gallardo LP-560-4 on Friday. Apparently they started this last month in reaction to the NASCAR gravy train drying up. For anyone interested, you can find out about it here:

Were you tempted to tell buddy to stop babbling so you could enjoy the drive?

You should have seen it when I was speaking French. I think that opened the door to the conversation. Oh well.

BTW, The 360 is remarkably similar to the NSX in drive feel.
