Feeler: Trade in Your Aftermarket Exhaust for GT-One 5.1 F1 Sound Exhaust

Okay so is it a high pitched sound or does it make the car sound like a V8? I'm trying to get away from the V8 sound.

I'm not sure how to explain it. It doesn't sound like a V8 Mustang/Camero/Corvette with Flowmasters. It sounds like an exotic beast. I haven't heard or recall distinctly the Gallardo/360's, but when I heard the 5.1 one scream on WOT, that is what I was expecting to see....but the noise was coming from the NSX. It's really is hard to describe.

5.1 has a loud raw high pitched "tinny" or raspy sound much like a Ferrari. Def. not like an american V8.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhODwFYS-Mg - v5.1 and GT-One headers. The GT-One headers makes alot of difference in noise and pitch. Dont expect this sound with exhaust only.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehjJB0kG0W4 - Scorp's old setup with v5.1, taitec? headers and GMSC. -mine sounds more like this and i run v5.1 and GM intake only. No headers.

One of our customers suggested the following idea a couple days ago and we would like to hear what you guys think.

The idea is to have your used exhaust in good condition evaluated and valued by a third party (one of prime's members). Exhaust pictures, age, and conditions will be required.
If you agree with the value that he gives you then all you have to do is pay the difference, send your exhaust to him and we send you the 5.1 exhaust.

This is the exhaust that you're getting:

Of course this is my new wallpaper.

I'm interested in this trading program. What do I have to do? How long does it take beginning from taking off my OEM exhaust till I got the 5.1 f1 exhaust? What is the price difference approximately?
Is it a choice of single tip or dual tip?

I tried PM you but the Inbox is full

LOL You guys have maxed out Henrys pm box:smile:

Also anyone with the dual tips?

I have the quad tips on my car it looks better i think then the single tips. fills up the opening perfectly.

Thank you guys for your inquiry, definitely lots of interest in this program.

With only 6 spots left (5-NA1 and 1-NA2 exhausts), we will proceed with the used after market exhaust which we think that we can sell first.

I apologize for the full PM inbox, please re-send your pm again.

Updated:
Exhaust Weight Stainless:29.7 Lbs, Titanium: 17.82 Lbs

What is the price after trade in?
How much does it weigh?
How much power gain is there (please show before/after with dyno.)

Thanks.
What kinda exhaust do you have? Send me an email with your aftermarket exhaust pics, age/miles and brand.

Most people don't expect much RWHP gain from exhaust and most exhausts only gain less than 10hp. But with combination of Header and Exhaust, most NSX shows performance gain around 20-ish RWHP.

I recognized that video as soon as Dave's cousin came on to the screen.

"This is how we roll!!!"

I found this clip on youtube, whose car is that?

I just can't believe the sound came from NSX.

Thanks. Like the guys said that is my car. That is a V5 exhuast which is like a 5.1 but it has electronic valve control. That run is also with the GT-One F1 headers and no cats. The car is supercharged. There are more photos of the valve controller and more videos on the thread here:
