Other favourites include: Saving Private Ryan, Predator, Ronin, Black Hawk Down, Tomorrow Never Dies, BraveHeart, We Were Soldiers, Band of Brothers (to prevent flame wars, I realize it's not really a movie
), and COMMANDO (rofl) .
Foreign films worth mentioning: Run Lola Run, My Sassy Girl (Korean), The Killer (John Woo).
Love some of the old B&W classics like Laurel & Hardy films, King Kong, "Plan 9 from Outer Space".
...and anything else Mark Basch recommends.
