F355 vs NSX sounds

Everytime I see the HSV-010 I just shake my head. That car should never have been touted as the new NSX, but it should definitely have been built. Could you imagine a Honda Corvette/Viper? Well there it is. Front engine and mid engine super cars being built by Honda, it could have been legendary.

No kidding. Toyota would NEVER have gotten away with the LFA if the HSV was out competing.

IMO the F355 has the best exhaust note out of any production car. Hard to find anything close to beat it. It just has this very F1 like tone.

Would agree on the exhaust note of the 355. OE exhaust on mine and it is simply music to me. Then I hear the Tubi's and Capristo's of the world and I think, maybe I should change out the system. Maybe not.....

Then the FGT is fired up and I think, whoa, now this is cool and with the super charger just inches from my right ear, how cool is this, and the torque..... OMG! Still, its OE exhaust. Many after market systems and they all sound Wonderful.

As for the NSX, the hunt is on for a 2005, Silverstone with reasonable miles and a documented service history along with a clean bill of health for the body. Preference would be to find the car in the Pacific-NW, but other locations may be acceptable as well depending on the offering.

Wow, I can't believe my NSX has been posted on here!!!

Just so you know, my NSX has been decatted & has the Gruppe M V3 exhaust.... It's currently in the garage awaiting some serious upgrades, can't wait!

As for my friends Ferrari F355, has been remapped, it has a tubi exhaust & has been decatted.

The video was shot in Wath, Yorkshire, England

Cheers guys!!!!

Thanks for posting. I was wondering what the mods were. No other mods besides gutted cats and exhaust?

I knew the F355 in the video was not stock!

No other mods at all (apart from the advan wheels of course)

I had a disaster 5 months ago with my NSX, crank pulley failure..... not good! So whilst the car is in the workshop, I'm going to treat her with the following (from science of speed mostly):

*Dual Valve Spring Kit, Titanium Valve Spring Retainer & Dual Valve Spring Base.
*Intake Valve Set & Inconel Exhaust Valve set.
*Multi-layer Stainless Steel Head Gasket Set.
*Lost Motion Assembly kit
*Cedar Ridge Fabrication Crankshaft Damper Pulley Shield (I'm not risking this failure in the future) with Honda Crankshaft Pulley.
*Comptech Sport Headers
*Downforce CF Stack Intake System
*Over-Bore Throttle Body

*Rear Lower NSX-R Lower Chassis Reinforcement Bar
*NSX-R Front Upper Chassis Bar
*SOS Adjustable Anti-Sway Bars
*Cedar Ridge Fabrication Sway Bar End Links front & rear
*Okuyama Rear Shock Tower Brace
*Cedar Ridge Non-Compliance Front Pivot Clamps
*SOS Steering Rack Bushing Kit
*SOS Non-Compliance Toe-Links
*SOS Non-Compliance Rear Beam Bushings Kit

That should be enough for now!
