As an aside, I will go to any dealer but Muller's. I was going there regularly, until I bought two stocks tires ($700) and during the 4 days that my car was there waiting for the tires, I had my glove box jimmied and Valentine 1 radar detector stolen. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! I freaked out! Unfortunately, Mark Detllo, the service director, said "it didn't happen here, and even if it did, we're not liable." Nice. I told him, "hey just fix my glove box, and reimburse me for the radar detector, and I'll call it a day." He said no, that's not company policy. Okay. I had the police there in 10 minutes. Filled out a police report. Officer Wiegert at Hoffman Estates police department said I should follow up with Acura about the problem. I was so busy working, it's my fault that I failed to do so... it's sad because until then, I had good service from them.
I know this is an unfortuante incident, but maybe it was a fluke.
Ken Sax swears by Muller's so see for yourselves... I think he's been going there for some 10 odd years and been getting great service. If you get good service all power to you - but I was just flipping through Chicago magazine and saw Detllo's name for some crap about unparalled service and it got my blood boiling....
Pauly Acura rocks in my mind. I will gladly make the extra hike for better service. I'm thinig of doing the k40 system anyway, so I'm not going to replace the Valentine 1.
