EZ Carlift

$2300? you can buy a normal lift for that. take pics to a welder and he'll build you one for 500 bucks.

That particular lift probably has some useful application for someone, but for $2300, there are better lift options out there.

If it's only real use is tire changes/oil changes, then for $300, you'd do well w/ a pair aluminium floor jacks. Plus the floor jacks are more portable if you need to move them around or transport them. The NSX is stiff enough to put a floor jack on either side and lift the entire car in the air. I've done this several times when changing wheels.

I dunno where you guys find ones cheaper than that... thats really all I need, for basics like brake, rims, oil, basics anything more I take to someone mostly due to time and the sh!t I F'ed up opportunity

*edit*
thought that was another type nm same basic principle I like thought but way to much for that particular design
I like something like this http://www.rotarylift.com/Products/...=Low-Rise&CAT=Professional Automotive Service

I saw this lift at a Porsche meet in Solvang CA earlier this year. It was $2K at the show. The thing I like about it is that it is very portable and storable. I would like a four poster in my garage, but I don't want to be bumping into all the time. The EZLift stores in between your 2X4 stud cavities when not in use. If he could deliver one to my door for $1,900.00 I'd take one tomorrow. It's a great lift for detailing and basic maintenance.

There seems to be an ongoing promo for this lift for $1995. I agree it is a little expensive but do like the portability of it and that it lifts about 10" higher than regular jack stands. A 2post or 4post lift would be nice but then you have to look at installation hassle and cost, working around another fixed structure in your garage and moving it if you change residence. It would be nice to stack 2 cars with a 4 post lift if you have the height. Well, just buy them both.
