Hey there gang!! I am replacing my factory exhaust on one of the NSX's with a Taitec unit, and two of the studs for mounting the exhaust are broken. Are these easy to replace?? I have the parts coming from Niello Acura and just need some tips, tricks, suggestions, or plain old simple help as to the best way to replace these. Thanks a bunch!! Have a great day!! :)

You will likely need to heat the broken studs up with a propane torch just the get the free of their rust. Once you heat them up you should be able to just bang them out with a hammer/mallet. Slide the new ones in, use the new fasteners and you are good to go.

Please explain which studs you are refering to:

Exhaust manifold mounting studs on the head? If on the head are they sheared flush?

Studs on the Cat?

There are three studs total, and we have two out of three that are broken.

Everything is done now....all good. Nothing to see here. :D
