Prepping for my new prospeed cats to come in for my '94. I took a look at the exhaust nut/stud hardware, that has been on the car for 16 years.

I think the prospeed cats should ship with m10x1.25 studs.. confirmation ??

After a bath in pb and a conservative blast with an unlikely ujoint/impact wrench setup; was able to remove the stuck hardware. I don't want to return any of the nuts to the new cats's studs.

Do you guys have a preferred exhaust nut that handles the temperature , salt corrosion, vibration and fouling? Would going stainless be bad? What kind of antisieze, antifouling do you use?

I saw these as a possible candidate .. but they look like 'merely' grade 8 steel :http://www.summitracing.com/parts/STG-4930/

I've used NeverSieze with bronze/brass nuts on the standard steel studs on my previous Corvettes. I never had a problem getting them off and re-using the nuts after 50k to 100k mi. No reason it shouldn't work as well on the NSX.

I'm curious as well....for my NA1 exhaust....what size bolts/nuts(14mm I believe)?

Thanks,

ps- this would be great for future reference as well.
