exhaust engineering?

Does anybody know how an exhaust is engineered like backpressure, exhaust sound pressure level and back pressure? Does anybody has some more infos on that?
In addition: Does anybody have a pic of a open CT exhaust? I'd like to see what's in the Pandora's box.

I'm loving my new TurboHoses custom exhaust. Lisa and I picked the car up last Tuesday. I started the car, blipped the throttle a few times and did a high RPM launch leaving the shop parking lot.

Both of us agreed - this is how a sports car should sound. Is it louder than stock? Yes. Louder than Comptech? Yes...and I love it. The smooth tone is just right.

I only drove it last Tuesday since I'm bogged down with planning our move, but I hope to get out with the car this week sometime to set off some car alarms :wink:

Hoover and his team know how to build an exhaust. I'm looking forward to hearing his new "shotgun" - 3" piping with quad 3" exhaust tips. The prototype looks nice and I'm sure it will sound good too.
