i had a limited 99 Sport 350 # 7 of 8 imported to the US with a Racing ECU upgrade and the only sequential 6 speed. It was fast as hell. Suspension and braking was phenomenal (monster AP RAcing brake setup and factory lightweight magnesium wheels). This car was geared for the track from the factory sort of along the lines as was the NSX R for NSXs. The stock 5 speed Renault tranny was absolutely garbage. The twin turbos spooled with absolutely no lag and power delivery was smooth without any intercoolers. The value on the car dropped immensely over the years. Did not have any problems other that the Lotus dealership in NJ forgetting to tighten the oil filter . Engine was then balanced and blueprinted. Heres some pics when it was up for sale 3 years back.
Beautiful only 54 ever made second fastest to 60 after S4 though it had a higher top speed.
