Entomologist's help wanted

What kind of spider is this? Dangerous? I found this outside my house. It spins webs all the time on my car.

I am afraid of spiders so I go out of my way to kill every one I see. If it was me I would kill first ask questions later.

Haha. Yeah, it released whatever it was eating before as soon as I introduced the quarter.

Notice the cross on its dorsal surface (back). It is yellowish in the pictures, but in daylight, it is bright bright white. Kind of weird.


Don't worry, it was dead by the time I took the closer pictures-- isopropyl Alcohol spray.

Maybe it is an orb weaver.

If it's the same as this, I believe it was decided that it was an Orb Weaver.
