Could be several things but a dirty throttle body is my first guess.

If it happens when you come out of gear, then it dips to 200rpm and back up to 800rpm it is the throttle body idle passage that is clogged.

Dirty throttle body
Liberally spray Carb cleaner on a rag and clean in front AND behind throttle body!Lake said:

Some T bodies have a coating on the metal to allow air to flow better. If you use CARB CLEANER its too harsh and will eat it away and your Tbody is shot :biggrin:
Get a cleaner SPECIFIC for THROTTLE BODIES. It will say on the can "THROTTLE BODY CLEANER"
