I found this for $500 shipped from japan. Anyone have this installed? They said there is no additional parts needed to install so no sure if it comes with the stay rod. From Avest japan

If oem nsxr that is a steal. Like 1/3 of the price. However be careful. From the picture it is hard to tell but looks like it is missing the prop rod stay hole, Is too glossy and the mesh doesn't like quite right. This is either a steal or a fake

I also saw this just the other day on Amazon. does anyone know what it takes to makes this work on a targa?

I emailed Avest for better pictures and pics if the underside. Not sure what the difference between targa and coupe covers are. Shouldn't it be similar size? Or is the mounting different?

not sure... I did subsequently see one Jack Sports reference that stated "not for t type" but I am trying to understand why!

The difference is the T type has a place to store the targa top. Some call it a clam shell because the cover is a two piece unit that opens like a clam shell, inside which the targa top fits.

I think the mounts are different. according to one source, you need to replace the targa's hinges with those from a coupe to use the same mounting holes... not sure if this is accurate, but it is according to one vendor.

It doesn't look too good. I think I'm passing on this. Don't like how the mesh is glued like Ryu said.

bummer... that looks like a silicone based adhesive the other replicas used. One hot day in socal sun and it will delaminate. I don't understand why they can't use a proper epoxy or resin on this...

Again, i'm basing it the limited pics. Might be diff glue in person.
