I've installed the SOS Oil Cooler which is connected to the underside of the engine bay fuse box for power. It is connected at the location of the white arrow below (under fuse 10):
This connection is always hot, which of course means the fan runs even when the car is off (until the thermostat shuts it down). After discussing a bit with RYU I think this is unnecessary since there is no circulation of oil at that point and the fan is simply cooling the oil in the cooler itself.
Does anyone know if any of the 3 mount points (red arrows) is powered on with the ignition switch? (i.e., not always hot) I know the circuit for fuse 13 (from the topside is), but I don't have any insights into the bottom and can't find a description of the bottom of the box in the service manual or ETM.
Thanks.
