Is it normal for this 2001 NSX for sale (link below) to have taillights with both the Acura word and the Acura emblem? My 2001 did not come that way.

No, he added the 02 emblem over the 91-01 center piece.

Personally I like it to say and have nothing on the center piece.

...and it might have HIDs too, look at the extra box and wires near the passenger headlight under the front hood. And the rear window looks tinted. And the center caps don't match the polished wheels. (this is fun!)

Missing the spare tire, battery looks small, and possibly unsecured, missing the plastic cap over the front-passenger side damper, missing some fender liner fasteners, aftermarket pedals, aftermarket shift knob, aftermarket exhaust.

The rear emblem could easily be made to look better by opening up the center panel, and removing the vinyl 'acura' sticker, while leaving the exterior 'A' in place.

Overall, its a baby, 30k miles, 2001, if I were in the market, I would be interested. Some minor aesthetic concerns, but all easily correctable. Nice car, nice color.

And what is that small white globe device with wires on the passenger-side wall of the engine compartment (visible in only one of the photos)?

PS - I totally agree, if I didn't already have an NSX, I'd look at this one. Yellow is Way Cool.

I would have to see this car in person, however, very few built in 2001. Even fewer in Yellow. Last year of this headlight design.
<40K miles!

One day this car will be worth a bunch.

I have to agree. The other guy used the R word. I try to avoid that word at all cost. What was this person thinking when they put the emblem right over the ACURA text. WOW! Love the color though.

Did you guys notice the rear lic plate? "Auto Recycling" Keyword. If you look at the background, the shop is right behind it. Looks like a Salvage yard to me. I could be wrong.

Pretty sure, this is a scam. Looks like he stole the pics. Seller has 0 feedback.

The license plate is from a guy who resells salvage NSX, he does a real good job from what I have seen. This however is NOT him selling the car.
