Electrical Problem/Emergency Lights Blinking

This morning, I started the car and the emergency lights started blinking but they were not turned on. It wasn’t quite the same as having the emergencies turned on though. I then turned on the emergencies and they blinked the same but brighter. When I turn on the headlights, they stop blinking.

Any one have any ideas as too what could be going on?

I just had my evaporator replaced a week and a half ago. They pretty much tore apart the dash doing this and I wondering could this have caused my electrical problem?

I’ll post if this problem is still there when I leave the office this evening.

I would suspect a loose ground wire, not bolted tightly under the dash. Simply return it and let the shop repair it.

Thanks Larry. The problem was gone when I drovehome but I'll remember this in case it happens again.

You may wish to give the shop a call and just inform them now. Get a record of the call, so if this occurs in a few months, they will have a record of it for your benefit. Intermittent stuff is difficult and time consuming.
