I have searched the forum and cannot find any information....has anyone tried bocking off the EGR valve for a track based car and seen any performance or power gains?

A block off plate is available for off road use with aftermarket engine managment. On a stock ecu you will get an check engine light. http://www.scienceofspeed.com/products/engine_performance_products/NSX/ScienceofSpeed/EGR_block/
Note that this is only for the cylinder head. It does not block the hole on the manifold as this part was designed for use with individual throttles.
The EGR system should be closed under WOT condition. Under WOT, there should not be any performance changes.
