OK, this is a challenge to all the NSX-savvy techs out there.
Every once in awhile I heard a loud (with the windows down) "boing" from either the engine bay or the left rear suspesion. It sounds just like a door stop spring being bent and released (just not quite that loud).
It is odd! At first I thought there was a problem with the coil overs that I installed (and that's still probably the most likely), but lately I've noticed it three times just sitting still with the engine idling (waiting to pick someone up from school).
Am I going nuts? Does anyone have any idea what this could be? If the helper spring on the Tein shock were a bit off, could it occasionally be making this noise?
At first I thought the throttle body would be sticking, but them common sense took over and said that, if that were the case, the engine might rev (I never said I was smart!
Any help/opinions/things to check/advice appreciated!
