My friend has a 97 3.2 Europe NSX and his ECU failed. He got one from the US, an US ECU. The official Honda dealer who tried to install it couldn't let the ECU let know the key code as he couldn't communicate with the ECU at all.
I guess they don't have the 'Acura' NSX in their software and are not happy to install a cheaper US part.
What to do? It's engine immobilizer related? Do US NSX of 97 do have this system too?
Would it help to send the key and the ECU to an US dealer and let the code exchange?
