I replaced my Dinan ECU Chip with an OEM chip now I get a CEL & the TCS light stays on. The fuel pump doesn't prime for a couple of seconds either.

I Put the Dinan chip back in & all is normal??

Anyone shed any light on this? The car still starts & runs/idles fine. I haven't driven it as yet. or pulled a code. I assume it has something to do with the TCS?

anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks

I wrote the this chip with this bin file , it runs fine in my engine , can you see any abnormalities in the file , pls rename to *******.bin

site keeps going down GRRRRRR cant attach

see bottom of this thread

Either the eprom is corrupted (I verified it twice)
The file is corrupted (works ok in my car)
94 model is different to 91 (unlikely but possible)

I hope the above advice works for you. You'll want to replace that Dinan chip as the OEM makes more power. I know, I've dyno'd them back to back.

Very strange. It won't even give a CEL Code!

I was very confident I had the chip in the correct way. anyway I turned it upside down & exactly the same, no fuelpump prime. CEL & TCS light stays on. Engine still seems to run normally (Maybe limp mode)

Again I put a different Dinan Chip in (I have 3 different chips) & all is back to normal. Fuel pump primes, No CEL or TCS lights.

Dinan chip has numbers;
MX R9349
27C256DC-90
M15964-1
Korea
VPP=12.5V

OEM Chip has Numbers;
Japan 9120
00007SS5
PGM 12.5V
HN27C256HGJ-85
