ecu breakout test harness

I'm doing some troubleshooting and need information on the ECU breakout test harness tool.

Does anyone know where I can get a ECU breakout test harness ecu #07LAJ-PT3010A? How much are they?

Is this honda or NSX specific? Do they make generic ECU that will work for our cars?

I would get just an extension harness and just clip into that

^+1. SOS sells one. Or backprobe the harnesses.

This is a break out box that has exposed pins that allow you to test electrical signals that the ECU is seeing. Depending on your problem, you can usually test at the sensor or plug if you suspect a continuity or voltage problem.

Wow, that tool isn't cheap at all.

I was trying to follow the service manual as close as possible to make sure I didn't miss anything.
