I have a white 92 nsx with comptech intake, comptech headers, straight pipes, and a ARC titanium exhaust.

Car put down 258whp and 197trq, my question to all is are these good numbers?? also considering ther was no fan blowing air into the intake somewhat simulating real air dynamics to the speeds being reached.

thanks in advanced.

Just as a side point, I had 2 friends (not NSX's) that had problems on the dyno with insufficient air flow... one blew a coolant hose and blew coolant all over the place and the other had a headgasket go out...

I had my car dynoed before the CTSC install and it put out 265rwhp(CT exhaust and headers). After CT install it dynoed at 350rwhp. CT finished the install yesterday.

WOW that is impressive, did you have air blowing into the intake when you did that run? any other mods?

Nice numbers. I'm really liking your upgrade parts as they seem to be very good quality (forgive me but I'm learning about Hondas and I know very little about the NSX). I was told to go either Mugen or Comptech so that's all I pretty much know. Very good on dyno numbers nonetheless.

The CTSC is an Autoroter standard boost. I will check on the pully info. No other mods except the ones stated. NSX is a 91 with 26,000 Miles. It was dynoed late in the afternoon probably around 80+degrees at CT.

Where would anyone suggest the air flow be directed for a dyno run ??

Having one done on Saturday all being well.

Of course you realize that dynometer to dynometer can vary up to 10% on their results. The only true comparison is to dyno your car before and after each mod, otherwise it is hard to compare. (apples and oranges). You could get on another dyno and find yourself with only 240rwhp. Your numbers sound about right if you dyno'd on a dynojet.

Direct a fan right on the intake behind the driver door.

Dyno type and setup has a lot to do with the varying numbers. I got 248 horsepower and 200 lb/ft torque on my '91, mods were Downforce intake scoop, K&N panel filter, Procar carbon fiber intake tube, and Dali Hot Chip. Done on a Dyno Dynamics dyno with one fan blowing up front on the rad, and a second fan blowing into the side intake vent.

So passenger side on a RHD car then :)
