I'm currently by regal cinema in....Dublin east of the 680. Apparently I broke a belt in my right rear tire in the tread portion and I'm pretty sure it's gonna burst. I'm an hour from home and I have to get to Stockton pretty soon to pick up my 5 year old. Does anyone happen to have a wheel I can borrow to finish my trip please? I'll return it before the end of the week. Thanks again

ps I've got the spare but it's barely safe to even drive far on those

Or a place I can drop off this wheel for a few days? I can't fit it in my trunk and still get my daughter and her stuff

Thank you chops for the call. Eveything is working out so far. Can't close the trunk with a 285 tire in the back and it is sticking out by a good amount. Good thing the trunk struts are blown out. Just hoping my 5 year old doesn't come home with anything large that needs to fit in the trunk. They're meeting me part way on Tracy so I'm trying to unwind with some famous daves. That'll save me about 120+ miles. Thanks again for the call chops!

Made it home in one piece! Thanks once again.

It's amazing how deformed the tire gets when belts break. I had an inner section about 3" wide by 12" long that made one big bubble that stood up over 1/2" over the rest of the tire. When I deflated it and squished the tire inward to try to wedge it in the trunk (but still didn't fit), there was still 2 large 2" deformed bubbles in the tread that wouldn't comform with the shape of the area of the tire.

I was VERY fortunate to pull over and check. SOMEHOW, I instinctly picked the right tire causing the bad vibrations I felt everywhere in the car. I jacked it up and the giant bubble was sitting right on top staring me in the face. What luck....... It could of been bad, very bad

Dam! I wish I would have been home to help you out but I was in the city all day. I live in Tracy and probably could have helped.

Anyway if you want my number just in case PM me.

BTW - My family loves Famous Daves.....
