Welcome to my neighborhood...:wink:
I do this drive or parts of it all summer.
10:30 is late IMHO, I usually hit this around 7am or so and there is rarely a car on the road.
If I don't go to the track this day I *might* make it and would be bringing a friend with an S2000 along.

That would be great if you and a friend could make it.
I know earlier would be better but I have a hard time getting people to show up at 9:00 in the LA/OC area for local drives so trying to get them out in Banning that early would be even harder. If we were going to do a spirited drive then I would plan it earlier but this one will be more casual but still lots of fun:smile:.
BTW when I plan a spirited drive I will just PM people and not post it for the obvious reason:wink:.

A corvette buddy has the newer c6 I think is the model. He said driving against my new nsx would be interesting. You having a supercharger will agree I told him it would be a challenge to keep up......at low boost.And les, the gf is all excited about "shopping" .........yeah.....yeah...... I love shopping haha (I seriously hate it). But if she wants to come, I will let her shop.

I know I cant Jason, I have to go to El Centro navy base for 2 weeks. it sucks alot of people are going on this, im missing out noooo.
Have not heard from Aaron yet and Steve is a maybe. A lot of maybes out there. Must be single guys, you know how hard it is for them to commit:tongue:
I will be doing a drive this Saturday the 7th with Mike since he can't make this drive. It will be early since it will be a spirited drive:wink:. PM me if interested. If anybody else is interested PM me also.

For those of you bringing your wives or girlsfriends and are worried about the drive being a bit too spirited, you can count on my girl and I to bring up the rear... She's driven with me and if I want her to ride along, we'll have to catch up later. She is excited about the shopping though...
I'm thinking 9:30 at the Target is a good time to meet up. How does that sound? I'm assuming that the 10:30 time is the time to meet at the base of the 243 in Banning. Oh, and I have a maybe from another owner to join us. The more cars, the better and hopefully someone will keep my girl and I company...
There may be time or two that we speed up a little when it is open in front but those will be for very short periods of time. As stated before this will not be a spirited drive.
Knowing that not everybody is on time
and people always talk for awhile we should make it 9:15 so we can leave at 9:30 to be at Banning by 10:30:wink:.Please add the maybe to the list, it helps to get more people interested

Hey Les, 9:15 to 9:30 sounds great to me. I assume that everyone is familiar with where the Target parking lot is off Wier Canyon. I'm trying to get my gf excited about the drive. This will be her first one and might be her last if she doesn't enjoy herself the way we do, so we'll cross our fingers...

Lets make it 9:00 to 9:15 so we can leave by 9:30. I will post later next week where the Target is for those who do not know. If we get more people from the LA area we can figure a spot for them also and where we will meet them in Banning.

So les, can you still hear after yesterdays drive lol. I went to pick up gf and 3 ppls came out of a party cause i quietly rolled up. One had a sick s2k. 500hp turbo at like 20 psi or so. They said even with the music it was loud. Glad im in front of the exhaust and dont hear it haha.

...........:biggrin: Yes it is very loud and you are lucky that cop in HB didn't pull you over:tongue:. Actually we are both lucky after the way we got on it a little further down PCH:wink:.People to talk to
