join the club... but then again, you already got a beauty... dunno why you'd want to redo it again... haha... UNLESS you're just plain ol' sick like me...

the hood is from SEIBON... its their CW style hood...
 
in regards to everyone who is wondering what the color will be this time around... its the lamborghini murcielago grigio avlon. (i don't know why, but i seem to love their colors)... haha...

but this color is a gunmetallic base, with a blue-steel pearl through the paint. the color was featured in "batman begins" as bruce wayne's lambo. the color can shift from a normal dark gunmetallic (rear quarter), to a blue-er gunmetal (front bumper) or lighter gunmetal (top of door). most of the color shifts can be seen on this sample picture...

is that the same as the lp640 exclusive grey ??
had one driving next to me a few weeks the colour was nuts.

but the one from batman is still !! drool :)
 
no it is not the same as the lp640, the lp640 is a non-metallic, his is metallic cool grey that looks darker and lighter depening on lighting.

FWIW i am painting mine the lp640 grey color.....kinda hard to find paint codes on it...any help from your side of the world?

the color code for this particular color will be REALLY hard to find as i don't think too many people (if not any) have any LP640's in their hands yet... only way would be to hit up possibly a larger lambo dealer in your area that has one, and see if you can look under the bonnet for the code...
 
I believe you have made the perfect choice in color. It looks magnificent and sexy! I can't wait to see it on your car! I guess you'll be the first one for the X.

Any ETA when you'll be done w/the paint job?

we're hoping in and out of paint in about 2 weeks tops and then assembly. just hoping some of the science of speed goodies will get here in time for paint as well.... crossing the fingers.

thanks to those who so far dig the paint. i just hope the color scheme looks just as good on the nsx as it does the lambo... hard to make a color look BAD on a lambo.

some asked why not another 'bright' color like the previous DOWNFORCE orange nsx... well that's pretty much the answer... its been done... orange, yellow, etc... while there still doesn't seem to be a widebody lambo LIME green, i'll leave that to someone else to brave...

this time around, i wanted to go for a more classier, sophisticated, darker, aggressive, yet sexy color... lets hope it turns out okay...
 
Yes I like your colour choice as well... Charcoal/gunmetal are my favourites as well!

Just for a comparison... It is hard to see in this photo but this is the OEM Honda Charcoal Metallic (Berlina Black roof though)

they are matte black... the same finish they use on the time attack wheels...
 
I"m not a big fan of the orange, yellow, pink, etc on exotic cars. I'll take a black/silver/white over those colors anyday. Just my taste...

I'm hoping you can get the same paint job as the lambo. I believe the Murci has a lot of carbon fiber inside the engine and interior. You might want to consider replacing some parts to carbon fiber (downforce product) as well. I think carbon fiber with that Lambo color is HOT and SEXY!

What are you going to do with the side mirrors? Paint it black like the lambo? or the same color as the body?

you can use this bumper without doing the wide front fenders. contact PETER @ downforce for more info.... he can help you out...
