Does anyone know whats the best Intake for the NSX??

The absolute best performance is going to come from individual throttle bodies.

Beg to differ, but wouldn't forced induction be even better?

Short of that, try to find an intake that is the least restrictive and pulls cold air from out side of the engine bay.

Yes, but that invites the inane question of, "Won't my NSX engine drown if I drive in the rain?"

Better if he was actually asking about forced induction. Not if, as I infered (perhaps incorrectly) that he was asking about NA intakes and not a full forced induction system.

No.

I use a factory airbox with a Cantrell Concepts AIS from Science of Speed. I absolutely love it. Other people will say it helps high-speed power and throttle response, but since I had a different intake on before, I can't really speak to those points. However, I will say that the sound, especially with the window open, is absolutely incredible.

I also used to live in seattle and was not at all shy about driving my car in the rain, and there's also a LOT of mist (very dirty mist) that gets kicked up off the highways there. I never had any problems due to water, and my air filter never seemed to get overly dirty.

Highly recommended.

I would guess the Comptech airbox. Well, at least this is what I would get because I live in CA and it being CARB exempt is important to me.

Define "best".

Best sound? If so, is quiet better, or is louder better?

Best at preventing dirt particles from entering the engine?

Best at performance (least restrictive)?

Least expensive?

Best looking?

As with most modifications, there is no universal "best". Any given example will be better at some things, not as good at others.

FWIW, I remember the factory NSX expert say that he had seen far more engines damaged by aftermarket intake modifications than by aftermarket exhaust or header modifications.

How much are the individual throttle bodies? Is it an easy install? How hard is it to tune it? What other factors does one need to know about it and it's characteristics?

Thanks for any help.

Question to those w/ CT airbox installed on their NSX's: Did you noticed any measurable HP increase/performance gains w/ just the the airbox itself (no other perf. mods), besides that sweet air-sucking sound it makes whenever you stand on the accelerator pedal? Reply would be greatly appreciated! TIA.
