Do I need an oil change?

I just got a used 2001 NSX. It has ~ 3500 miles on it. I think that the oil in it has never been changed. Should I go ahead and have the oil changed?

Leave the oil in until at least 7500 miles. It has been discussed before that the original oil is a special "break in" oil that needs to be left in longer for proper engine break in.

Do a search for "break in oil" to learn more. I'm sure others will chime in who have more info or other suggestions.

Leave the oil in until 7500 miles. My next door neighbor is a retired Honda mechanic and he tells me the oil is "Special" and only available at the factory.
