NSX Diffuser

Hi,

Prototype is done for 2002+ but I want to know if anyone with a 91-01 would be interested in our diffuser? If there is enough interest, I'll make one :)

Re: NSX Diffuser

wow, great job. what's the price for the 02+ version?

I'd like to know price also.

Any chance you can take an underside photo? Would be nice to see the mounting points. Also, a few other photos would help, low rear, low side, etc. Basically, multiple angles keeping the camera parallel to the ground and laying on your stomach for a true perspective (if that makes sense).

Re: NSX Diffuser

Definitely a great looking diffuser you have made.

Re: NSX Diffuser

Interested in a 91-01 version, possibly with the Railer Jr. profile.

Also, does the diffuser work with the stock exhaust or only with a "low profile" Taitec Lightweight or JGTC style exhaust?

Re: NSX Diffuser

Love to see how the 91-01 looks. Amazing work. How durable are these? I could see people scraping while pulling/backing out of a driveway...

Going to have make a ramp for the driveway. PITA, but if you want a "poser" diffuser there are plenty of other choices.

I like it. But I am concerned with how low the fins are from the ground. My car is even lower than this Spa Yellow. First speed bump or incline, and this diffuser would be crushed.

Honestly, it looks so good, I think I want to see if he can just carry it up to the front of the car for a completely closed off under side. This looks to be very functional at first glance.

Re: NSX Diffuser

I really like the look of it.
I think if you're lowered this would be a "track-only" item, or at least you have to be very careful with it, especially going in and out of driveways, and over speed bumps.
I would love to see a side view, from near ground level.

Difflow Diffusers for the NSX

Hi Everyone,

I've created a Vendor page and hopefully I did everything correctly. I'm Glenn and I own Difflow Diffusers. We've been in business just over a year and a half now, and we have a great reputation in the Lotus community. We wanted to branch out to other sports cars, and we thought the NSX would be a great car to make a diffuser for since a lot of people enjoy tracking them.

We've been working on a 2002-2006 NSX diffuser. It also fits on the 1991-2001 NSX with the updated rear valance. Eventually in a month or two we'll work on a 1991-2001 Diffuser. I'll be posting more pictures this weekend when I fit it on to another NSX. I'm also going to be making an installation video. No drilling or cutting required, takes about 30 minutes to install. The diffusers are powdercoated satin black for a long lasting, durable finish. We make all of our diffusers out of aluminum so they handle curb rash great, and the fins can be replaced. Everything is done here locally in Missoula, MT.

Prices and more details will come this weekend. Ballpark pricing will be around $650.00 + shipping. I've already got the first batch of 3 diffusers spoken for, so if you're interested, let me know and I'll put you on the list.

Please follow us on Facebook for updates on the diffuser and our progress. We always put up customer car pictures if they submit them to us. I look forward to joining and supporting the NSX community with some diffusers. :)

Re: Difflow Diffusers for the NSX

They look amazing!!!

How high(roughly) are these off the ground. How durable are the fins? Do you think I could clear a speed bump or an average driveway?

We designed these specifically to be street friendly. If the front end of your car clears a driveway, then the rear end will with our diffuser - we made the angle of attack similar. On stock suspension the diffuser fins will sit about 5 inches off the ground, parallel to the ground.

Sounds good. October planning on buying an 02 valance, but I want to see how your 91 - 01 diffuser looks on the car 1st

Re: NSX Diffusers... coming soon.

Is'nt this just like the DF diffuser but with 3 xtra fins?

I agree.

DF is FRP /CF. This looks like metal. The DF one is a bit heavy (although great in quality and I love DF in general). I'd like to know what this weighs. Tail of the car is not where I'd want to add weight.

I hope it is priced reasonable too.

The DF one looks like it barely covers the exhaust and has a steep angle to fit the stock exhaust.

The Difflow looks like it extends to the rear beam.

I'm just waiting for the 91-01 one with a 5 to 10 degree diffuser angle that works with the a Enduralite/GTLW/JGTC or other small exhaust canister since it's the geometry that would probably actually work.

Nice could use a little ramp like that...my luck someone would steal it.

What did you mean by poser diffusers? Seem kind of legit to me.

Re: NSX Diffusers... coming soon.

I got the installation video done today. It's very informative and it shows plenty of underbody shots, etc. Take a look and let me know what you think. Diffusers will start to go on sale in a week or two. We are starting production Monday. Ballpark price will be $650ish + shipping.
