Different views of my NSX! NOT WORK SAFE

What model and size are those?? That is the EXACT wheel I want for my NSX.

Hi there Meeyatch1,

These are HRE Model 547, about 10 years old now from when I ordered them.
Fronts are 18x8 (215/35-18) and Rears are 19x10 (275/30-19).

Your exact rims were the inspiration you gave us when looking for rims soon after the 04 was bought. HRE 547 18x8.5, 19x10.5, fully polished. They look great BTW on your Rio! Loved them ever since and still look great.

Thanks brother!

They look great on your LBBP! Gorgeous car, really like the 547's on your car with the deeper dish / lip. I will do the same when I need the next wheel repair and send them back to HRE to change the Barrels with your lips. By the way ... I'm SPA Yellow:wink:

Yeah, I think he has the "Reverse Lip" and you have the "Step Lip". Unfortunately, the inside face is generally smaller in diameter on a "Step Lip" version of the wheel, so they're not interchangeable with the face of a "reverse lip" (I'd call HRE to confirm though). You probably won't be able to change the barrels to get the look you're looking for. :frown:

I think so too! I'll check with HRE.... Worse case scenario, sell these and
buy New ones right? I'm thinking I wouldn't have too hard of a time selling
these, some people prefer the Step Lip.

Yep I forgot to mention thet are 547R. Sorry about that. Either way all 547's look good, they have a classic look to them.

No Worries, I had a feeling! On the lookout now for some 547R's:biggrin:
No rush, am still very content with the 547's!

Oh I see- mine were always R's I just had them rebuilt. The photoshops we're taken from someone else's car, the stepped lip version would use an 18" rear center not the 19" FWIW

Ahhhh I see now.... Your Wheels came out Gorgeous!

I am really getting to like it! I would change tire sizes is the only thing :) Maybe a 295 or 305 though I hear that all that stagger makes the handling worse...

I've heard the same ..... but you never know.
Everybody's got an opinion, especially NSX Enthusiasts!

Went to Eat some Pho Noodles for Lunch the other day and
a Fisker Karma was parked next to me when I came out.
Will post a few other pics in the Parked Next To Thread...

Well, Exhaust Installed! Just in time for NSX Craze Austin next week!

After months of researching and much thought, I ended up choosing the
Pride line of Exhausts. I preffered the Deep Growl of the Pride V1. I guess
it reminded me a lot of my old RM that was on my last Blue 2000 NSX.

I was going back and forth with Mark @ Pride (Great Guy to work with!)
last Thursday to get one or a possible V2, then a V1 with Titanium Tips
and Adaptors made itself available the same day here locally last week
in the DFW area... Outstanding!

Even better than that, the owner was willing to assist with an install the
same day that evening! Thank you very much Timeless1....

It doesn't get much better than that! Install went smooth and I love the V1's
Deep Growl! I have some adjustments to play with as I'd prefer the Tips not
to stick out this far and the left side is hanging a bit lower than the right side.

Here's a couple of rear end shots!

I'm sure I will have some better pictures after NSX Craze Austin next week....

That sticks out a bit far doesn't it? Are they all like that?

Certainly a bit further than I prefer.... I'm assuming all are like this, there
have been no mods to it, practically brand new. The adjustment holes in
the Titanium Tips will allow the actual tip to protrude from the end on the
last hole if used. I have it on the 2nd hole currently to avoid the real tip
coming out of the Titanium Tip. I may have to do some cutting or drill
another hole to allow the Titanium Tip to be slid inward a bit more.

I only notice bc I am getting mine installed tomorrow and have been studying fitment- looking forward to seeing you at craze!

No no I think I am all set for exhaust now... Wait till you hear it. I am just getting titanium tips welded onto mine and have been looking at different lengths to see what I can do. I think I am going to go for something that lines up with the valence but sticks out an inch more than a stock 02+ exhaust. An inch or two here makes a big difference!

Right on, looking forward to hearing it! Indeed an inch or two makes a Huge Difference!
I prefer the subtle tucked away look myself. Will see what I can do!

We have the V1 and added Angus resonated pipes to it. Sounds even better!!!
