different colored face gauges

That depands on if we are replacing the whole unit or just the face plate?

afterburners, thanks for confirming that

so i have you down for a set?
the 200mph gauge is a 500 dollar option

awesomer1,
i was thinking just replacing the face plate as it would be most cost effective.
sourcing complete NSX clusters is difficult as it is.

its in the works.
im thinking about using cold cathode lighting technique like some of the lexus gauges.
similar to the DEFI BF series gauges

That make sense, I would be interest in a set also. After close to a year of buy the CF cluster and Stacy Rings, I still need to put them on. So if this will be available in the near future, I can do all the installlation at one time.

Its Photoshoped! Why because each picture is identical other than color.. carpet location is exact.. You cant place it in the same exact spot 4 times perfectly. Looks good if they were real and if you can manufacture them PLEASE add 200MPH.

good job capt obvious!

I like the blue ones, heck i'll even stick with stock black ones, as long as you get the digits to light up white, like the new Z06 gauges. i would spend around $300 for something like that.

i wish someone would just get these into production already!

Yeah, someone needs to put these into production.
I googled custom gauge bezels, to see if I could find a company that could custom build me some gauges , but no luck. maybe i'll just stuff a Z06 gauge cluster into my NSX!

The NSX-R one is over $2000 bucks right?

I doubt a high quality one could be had for $300.. but if possible, you'd make a killing...

these look way classier, because they're nearly OEM... better than the crappy white gauges from the ricer market

how about Phat numbers?
i had some time to kill.
yay or nay?

what would you like to see? i need inputs.

I love it. Those numbers look more modern.

can you do one with standard and just the tach yellow? I am just curious... sorta like an F430.

I don't like any of them. White or Carbon-look work for me, depending on the cars color.

same. the bright colors are too much.... it looks cheap. the darker colors look better, but still.... ehhh.

just my preference but i think bright ass colors on the interior just look wrong.

That would be hot, especially if the tach was moved to the center so that it doesn't look lopsided. Unfortunately, that probably couldn't happen.

Either way, good job on the gauges evo.

bright red gauges, with a yellow redline, would (I imagine) look fantastic, especially with gauge trim; FWIW I was cruising through yahoo japan auctions last week, and noticed a seller with blue-faced gauges available for the nsx; I would imagine there would be an issue with mph/kph, but perhaps he would be a possible source for custom-colored gauges? A search didn't turn up the auction, but (as I occasionally surf yahoo japan when I am bored) I will keep an eye out.

Love it...I think I like the blue the best...or maybe a toned down red. The big numbers look good too. Just to have the option to swap something like this out would be fantastic!

Evo can you do that for kicks? a yellow tach with black or dark others?

has anyone contacted various companies that do this (ie. speedhut.com) to see if they could make them?

I'm bumping this thread for a reason.

I love speedhut's products, I have for years. They still don't have anything for the NSX - but would create something with 25 interested parties. There prices are very reasonable too.

I just sent them an email and I'll see what I can get going. But if this sounds like something of interest, post up and let me know. I will most likely create a new thread if this ends up being a green light for production so I can update the first post on a regular basis.

Just to confirm, are the OEM gauges all the same from 1991-2005 or were there any subtle changes?
