Anyone here know the differences in engine blocks between 91-94 and 95 (OBDII cars)?
Can I just switch all of my components onto the older block?
Does everything just bolt onto the earlier blocks from the 95.

Also will the 97&up 3.2L block just go right into the 95?
Also note that this new block will have the CTSC on the engine as well.
Thanks

Len,

ICBW, but the only difference in the pre 95 and the 95-6 3.0ltr engines would be throttle by wire and intake/throttle body changes. AFAIK the blocks are the same, as well as the mechanicals.

The 3.2 should be the same outer dimensions and engine mounts as the 3.0. I believe it is just the bore and heads that really make up the difference.

Then again, I forgot all about bypass valves in superchargers, so what do I know:rolleyes:

The 1997 and up 3.2 liter blocks also have silicon and aluminum cylinder sleeves vs the 3.0 has cast iron sleeves.
