to me this kind of job is rice....man.... there are things that just can't be done...

In general NSX convertible conversions are brutal to look at but I have to say the owner did a decent job of trying to make it look tasteful.
I must admit that while I'm not a fan of the convertible idea, this definitely looks to be pretty well sorted out. Much better than some of the "other" ones...
I agree there. I think a convertible NSX messes with the cars lines.
But this is a much better job than some of the others. There is one with a skinny roll bar going over the top that doesn't look as good.

Normally I would be bashing the car.. Most convertible NSX look horrible!

I thought the Newport conversions convertible top went over the engine cover? I know the owner said he modified the engine cover so maybe he redid the top? Either way the car looks nicely done.
