I am seriously considering selling my Dodge Viper for an 02 or 03 NSX. My problem is that I have never ridden or driven in an NSX. Somehow, sitting in one in the showroom just doesn't give you the feel for the performance. I would like to ask a huge favor of you local guys to help convince me that this would be a good car choice. Would any of you be willing to give me a test ride and/or drive in your car? I would be willing to trade equal time in my Viper (97 GTS). I would prefer a 3.2 engine since that is what I'm looking at but, being a beggar, I will take what I can get.
FYI - I tried going to a local dealer who has a used one for sale (2000 w/14K miles on it) and asked if I could drive that one before buying their new 03 so I could make sure I like the car (reasonable request I think). They told me they don't like to let their cars go out for test drives very often to keep the miles down and to sell my Viper first and come back when I'm closer to being ready to buy.
